(no subject)

My laptop has been acting Very Odd for the past couple of days - the hard drive randomly spins up for no good reason, the DVD drive has been acting up, the scroll frequently doesn't...and I think I've figured out why.

An ant crawled out of my little touch mousepad thing last night, and then back in before I could brush it off. Ick. Now I have images of a computer filled with little dead ants...

How it even got in there, I have no idea - the computer pretty much always stays in the bedroom here, I don't eat in here, there are no other insects...boo.

Let it be henceforth known that, without any reservation or doubt, this is officially the Best Thing Evar. Better than tea. Better than the best book you've ever read on a snowy day while you're curled up in a blanket in front of a fire with a hot cup of tea. Better than air.

I don't know if I'm going to be able to participate in the one they have in Richmond in August, but I am damn well going to try. Stupid Saturdays...
