I would perform atrocities of the most atrocious kind for some lovely Boudin sourdough bread right now. A sandwich, some toasted bread with Sonoma Jack cheese and hard salami, something. Or especially french onion soup in one of Boudin's amazing bread bowls. I'm just sayin'... Heck, I'd even make the french onion soup if said bread bowls were on hand!
(Why are all of my food addictions both somewhat expensive and on the west coast? Shipping food all the way across the country is freaking expensive!)
Note: Swedish rye bread would be an acceptable substitute, but it would require me spending 5000 hours making it, which is not. I do NOT have the patience to make bread very often. By which I mean ever.
Les madre wants to get up early tomorrow and go berry picking, in our continued quest to eat blackberries. But - since I'll be picking up HP7 on my way home from work, and probably reading it until I am done, I'm not sure how feasible "waking up early" is.
