So, one of our local radio stations has gone through a format shift, and...it's odd. What was a choose-your-own rock station, where users could submit hour long playlists, is now Kung Pao 100.5, a Chinese Classic Hits station. Except they seem to have only about fifteen songs total. And the website? Looks like a hoax. Right now the jury is out on if this is for real, or if it's all a big publicity stunt, but some of the frothing messageboard commentary has been...interesting.

A local station here that I'm told was classic rock has spent the last several days playing nothing but Dave Matthews. And IDing itself as "All Dave Matthews, All the Time."

I am zero clue what to make of that.

Wait, the jury's still OUT on whether or not it's a hoax? No wonder the legal system is so messed up...

Anyway, before it's over, you totally need to call in to request some Notorious MSG. ^.^

Oh, and also, as a side note, don't MOST radio stations these days only play about 15 songs total? >.>

I've been hearing about this from some other VA Beach folks. HILARIOUS.
