(no subject)

I find myself forced to come to terms with the fact that I'm a competitive bitch. Not even just sometimes, it's most of the time. Oy.

's OK, so am I. :)

Yes, but which of you is the BETTER competitive bitch? :D

(. . . I'll admit, I didn't resist that one very hard. Sorry!)

That reminds me: we never resolved the avatar competition....

(A) You say this like it's a bad thing.
(B) In what way do you feel as such? (In other words, anecdotes or it didn't happen.)

Not bad, more of something I have to accept and come to terms with. And I'm not sure there's any one thing I can point to - it's more a pattern of behaviors that all end up having the same root. Take passive aggressive driving. I hate being paced - I'm perfectly happy to move to the right and let people pass me if they're riding my tail, but if they don't pass? They're never going to be allowed to pass me. It can be good - I'm harnessing that inner competitive streak and using it to finish up spinning/knitting projects by joining in on a "competition" on Ravelry - it's just...something I need to be aware of, so that when it kicks in I recognize it for what it is.
