Ok, I take it back - Trinity Blood looks awesome. Oh yes it does. And Speed Grapher is sounding less and less like what I was expecting it to be. Which isn't necessarily bad, just...unexpected.

It was originally being called "the photography anime", which didn't strike me as a violent, post-apocalyptic, supernatural sort of series. I like that sort of thing, I just didn't expect it in a show about photography.

Ah. I never got that impression. I d/led and watched the preview on animesuki, so what I was looking forward to was violent, post apocalyptic, supernatural anime.

Because I'm booooored, and I can't focus on anything for more than half a millisecond (Ferret-on-crack mode: ON!)...

First discussion came up here, which really didn't get much into the content (more about the name than anything else), so my misperceptions are all my fault. Then comes this thread, which describes it as "Looks like GONZO in "Gantz" mode. Some sort of dystopian story about people with superpowers, lots of killing, and a May/December romance". Much head-scratching followed, but if it's anything like Gilgamesh (probably not, but I'm one of about five people who loved that show to death from beginning to end), I'll be thrilled.

The more I think about it, the higher my interest level is getting for both this and Trinity Blood (did you see those images? I want an artbook if nothing else!).
