In Which Your Heroine is Struck Repeatedly About the Head and Shoulders by Captain Obvious
Lately, all I want to do is read, and I've been doing so with a vengeance. So, there are several books that I want to read right now. That are in hardback. I want them in paperback to match the rest of my books, but I want to read them NOWNOWNOWNOW. But I don't want to fork over hardcover prices.
So I go "Hmmmmm. If only I knew someone local who already had these books who I could borrow them from."
Like, oh, I don't know, the freaking library.
Tomorrow, I'm getting a card. I can put holds on the ones I want online, and be notified by email when they come in, which is cool as hell. So the abiding question is - why the hell did I wait this long to get hooked up with the library system again?
Because my brain has been converted to feta, obviously.
