I have been...remarkably diligent in working out this week. Not so much with the sleeping, but the working out has been pretty good. But my hips are randomly feeling odd - not hurting exactly, but more of a "WTF, we're not equipped for this sort of abuse" feeling. Oddly enough, my muscles aren't doing too bad - sore, yes, but toning back up nicely. (Actually, my sides are more sore than my legs. Odd.) I never lost most of my muscle mass, just most of the tone, and that's reversing itself pretty quickly. Hopefully I'll start seeing a difference on the scale soon. Yay!

It's been just cardio this week, but I have a personal training session next week that will also get me hooked into the Fitlinxx system, which automagically tracks not only how much weight you're supposed to use on each machine, but what seat positions, etc, and tracks your progress for you - how many reps you've done, etc. So I'll probably go back to my old routine - 15-30 minutes of cardio, weight training, abs, and then another 15-30 minutes of cardio. Minimum five days a week, ideally an hour of cardio every single day. This is the goal. The added incentive of child care makes it much more reachable.

Still haven't made it to the library yet. Bah. Maybe Monday. I still have unfinished Jane Lindskold (probably because I've been working out more instead of just reading), so I think I can hold out until then.
