Putting weight on my ankle feels incredibly wierd. And not in a good way. But I can hobble around on two feet for short distances, although I'm still nervous about stairs and doors - I managed the stairs fine yesterday, but about killed myself trying to get in the door. Ick. But, the baby shower's tomorrow, so I have to navigate my mother's house today and tomorrow, then the Bell's residence.

Where I will be forced to play shower games. I hate shower games. A lot.

And we're bringing the dog, which should be an adventure.

Guh. I have to go back to work Monday, which is going to suck. Driving will be OK, I think, but the whole getting from the parking lot to my office is going to suck, as will moving about the building.

There are times when I revel in being a man. When I read the words "shower games" and know it's not fun stuff to do with a significant other, that's one of those times.

You have to go back Monday??? Have they no respect for federal holidays? Especially MLK Day! A holiday so important that they took the Super Bowl away from Arizona back in 1990 for our not making it a paid holiday (because we're all a bunch of racists, ya know).
