Pondering

Once I leave work today, I will have put in 57 hours of work. This is quite a large number, mind, but it doesn't tell you one important thing - Thursday was a Federal Holiday, and I didn't work. 57 hours in four days of work, with an hour and a half drive stacked on the front and back of each work day.

It's no wonder I have hostility today!

54, here. And, despite being a veteran, I still worked Thursday... and did next to nothing (the Navy had a four-day holiday, which meant we had nothing to do... well, if I'm going to do nothing, then I'm willing to put in overtime doing that).
