Also, in a move that nobody else will likely care about, Diebold may withdraw from electronic voting. AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Now, we just need the Nevada State Gambling Commision to certify a voting machine for national use, with voter verifiable paper trail, and we're set to go. Or we could, you know, go back to the old "fill in the arrow" method that works so well.

Painkillers aren't working right today, foot is a rather spectacular shade of plum, and swollen again. Tempted to go home early, stick my foot in some ice, elevate the sucker, and chug more painkillers.

Oh Great Livejournal Brain-Trust, I come to you asking for your wisdom!

There's this Italian (I think) candy/dinner mint that my family used to get at some little italian restaurant, and I can't remember what they were called. If at all possible, I want to get some for my sister, because it would rock.

They looked almost exactly like individual smarties - little discs, with an indentation on one side. These came individually wrapped, though, and were chewy - not gummi chewy, but harder than that. The ones we normally got were mint flavored, although I think at one point we had a bag in assorted fruit flavors.

Any ideas?

(Oh - Himalania Goji Berry trail mix is love. As are just regular goji berries. I think I might have to get some of the pink salt to cook with, too.)

[EDIT] It may or may not be this - I really can't tell, but it's something similar.

[EDIT2] These match my memory almost exactly (assuming they're tiny, which is hard to tell from the page), but I don't see just mint ones. If there were just mint, I'd feel pretty confident that I had found them.

[EDIT4] Just for the heck of it, this kind of amused me. Jonathan Carroll clearly doesn't hang out in the same circles I do.
