[EDIT] Ah, the first contact from That Man since his pre-Father's Day email. And, as usual, it's nothing more than an annoying forward without even an attempt at personalization. Suddenly, my mood has taken a pronounced turn for the worst.

You know, I really shouldn't let him have this power over me. And I've gotten better - I don't think anybody who isn't my mother or Erik knows how much of this I've been able to let go of. But, for some reason, I still let him bother me, get under my skin, make me bitter, and I can't figure out how to stop it.

Other than raining Stabbity Death down on him, of course.
