Dani-kind cannot live off Wintergreen lifesavers alone. But damn if I'm not giving it a go.
Still feeling much akin to the undead - even riding into town with Erik driving is leaving me completely dead. Not cool - and I have to somehow make it back to work on Tuesday. Where I will be forced to deal with the stupid until I collapse into a messy pile of goo all over them in a futile attempt at revenge.
I, for reasons and logic that escape me, attempted to work out on the elliptical today. I made it all of seven minutes before pretty much just collapsing. Remind me to not try that again any time soon. Or, knowing myself as I do, at least until tomorrow.
DVD backlog stands thus: Full Moon 1, Kaleido Star New Wings 5 [EDIT: make that 4], Gankutsuou 5, Kyo Kara Maoh 8, and Kodocha 7-8 [EDIT: Also Kamichu 2]. I'm currently stuck in a state where I have no idea what I want to watch next, which means I'll just grab something at random off the shelf, hope it's not Kodocha 8, and watch that. Yay!
Finally managed to get around to starting The Briar King, which I picked up for $1.25 two months after the hardcover originally came out. For some reason, I never got around to picking it up off the shelf. Thus far, I'm really liking it - it's your Standard Fantasy Epic, and not doing anything particularly original, but it's at least doing Standard Fantasy Epic well, and hasn't (yet?) fallen into the "diverse characters live their lives, and then through A Trick Of Fate wind up together on an Epic Quest to Save the World from the Ancient Evil" path. Yet. I feel it coming, though. Still, all things being equal, brain candy is just what I need.
