Who, other than lightsider, is going to Otakon? I'm pondering making the drive up there for Saturday, but I'm not 100% convinced yet. Convince me!

Is anyone up to going to see Corteo, the new Cirque du Soleil touring show, with me? It's coming to DC at...some point. Probably October/November. I don't think my marriage would survive getting lost and missing a Cirque show a second time...(Plus, Erik might not even be in the area by then...but more on that later).

When sitting in briefings with Important People like, oh I don't know, the frickin' Captain, I will not snicker inappropriately every time the Hispanic guy giving the briefing uses the acronym DTD. And says it really quickly. Really. Will not snicker. Because I have willpower, or something that occasionally masquerades as it.
