The Zoo over Ambuscade Street

Buh. I am dead of tired, but Felicitous Luck has decreed a change in my schedule for this week, meaning I can sleep in and still manage to get in a full week of work. Yay! Or something...

Fun weekend overall. Very hot, but we had a lot of patrons, a lot of performers, and a whole mess of repeat business, which is always happy. A bunch of us ended up at my house on Saturday, where Joan made the Best Chicken Parmesan Evah.

Sunday was Way Too Much Fun. James, and then Melyssa wore my nifty plastic and crin falls, Devon wore my new PVC skulls corset, and I wore the Hello Kitty Corset of Awesome, which had quite a few people drooling. I had to break it to them that they really, really didn't want to buy one from the woman I bought it from.

Um. Erik hung out with us all day, which was fun. I overdid it with my foot to the point that it rebruised, which wasn't. I bought an extremely expensive leather purse for $25, along with some other assorted stuff, and neglected to eat much of anything.

I really planned to write more, but I'm very tired, there was some strange awkwardness that happened, and I'm...very tired.

I have baby foxes in my yard now! Yay!

Dear My Brain:

When I, or someone else, propose something that involves doing stuff and being productive while preventing me from getting a sufficiency of sleep (defined, in this case, as an average of about five hours per 24-hour time block), please refrain from replying with "Hey, that's a great idea!" Take some time, even half a millisecond, to pause, reflect, and actually think things through to the logical conclusion for once.
