And [livejournal.com profile] elyscape - they have Madlax #1 for $10, or $11 with the box

Also, I need a nap.

Aaaaand...there was Much Drama. Also the lifting of furniture, the storming and yelling, and the blaming of eating baby bunnies on the dog. Then, Erik went off to sulk.

See - we were keeping the two of them in a box in the master bathroom, to keep them away from the dog and Hellkitten. Apparently, they can jump out of said box...And, since for reasons that escape us still, we have two inch gaps at the bottom of every door in the house, there was nothing to keep them in said master bathroom. So...two baby bunnies on the loose, in a house with two carnivores. Not happy.

I, in frustration at Erik (to his credit, he's exhausted - work is doing some horrible nasty things to his schedule this week), sat down to watch Maison Ikkoku. About ten minutes in, I notice the Hellkitten doing something strange. I go to investigate, only to find...a baby bunny! Wacky Hijinks ensued, as I tried to keep ahold of the cat, keep the baby bunny from running off somewhere where we couldn't reach, and called frantically for Erik to come remedy the situation. Baby bunny was rescued, fed, and Erik is much calmer.

Still no sign of the other one, but I'm pretty sure he'll turn up. Gracie O'Malley the Pirate Cat will probably locate him first, so I'm keeping an eye on her. Have also suggested moving said box with bunnies into three foot deep bathtub (it's wonderful), as I'm pretty sure they can't escape from that.

Baby Bunny #2 turned up, trying to creep out of the bedroom. Very Stupid Dog spotted her, and decided it was dinner. Baby Bunny decided to try to hide between the stove and the counter, and got stuck. This Sucked. We had to use a broom handle to give the poor thing enough leverage to squeeze under the stove...where it got stuck again. I then had to lift up said stove (happily, my strength is the strength of a thousand, because my heart is pure Evil), so baby bunny wouldn't suffocate underneath said stove. Aaaaand...managed to get my hand cut open in the process.

Erik then decided that introducing Very Stupid Dog and baby bunny would be a good idea. This proved not to be the case. Very Stupid Dog decided to try to eat baby bunny out of Erik's hands. This made Erik Wroth. A lot. All over the place. Very Stupid Dog has probably not learned the error of her ways. Because she is, after all, Very Stupid.

Baby Bunny #2 is happyfed, and I think Erik's out releasing it into the wild now, operating under the theory that if they can escape and run free in our house, they'll be fine outside. At least, as fine as any baby bunny without a nest is. Something like 80% of them die before they reach a month old, after all.

Now...maybe I can sleep. Maybe.
