This morning was marked by a profound inability to function, so severe that I was forced to take drastic measures and stop for coffee. It wasn't until I was about an hour away from my house that I realized the true extent of the Horror my day was about to become.
I had no chapstick. This? That's totally me. I cannot function without a tube of Burt's Bees lip balm. I buy in bulk, and put it on constantly throughout the day. If I don't have a tube in my pocket, I find myself unable to function, obsessing over the dry and cracked state of my lips. I wake up in the middle of the night with the profound need to apply lip balm.
There was, of course, only one sensible option. I had toturn that car right back around and go home to get more speed posthaste to the closest convenience store and buy one of the crappy brands with the meat tenderizer.
It works, a little. At least, it should get me through the work day. Then, once I get back home, I can have more of my beloved minty-fresh beeswax goodness.
[EDIT] DARWIN POWAH!
