Dragon Voice has no business being as entertaining as it is. I feel vaguely dirty for loving it this much - I stayed up Way Too Late reading through volume 4 last night, and if it wasn't for the fact that I had to wake up at 3AM, I probably would have read the fifth volume as well.

This week is going to Really Suck. We're down to one car, and Erik has to work M-F this week, joy. So let's examine this:

D commute: 3 hours total (or less, on occasion, but I don't think I'll get lucky and hit no traffic on the way home, because my luck doesn't seem to be where it needs to be...)
D work: 8 hours
E commute: 3 hours (again, give or take)
E work: 10 hours

Total: 24 hours/day. Yay. So - I get up at 3AM, work 0500-1300, go home, and turn the car over to Erik who immediately leaves to go to work. He wakes me up when he gets home, and the cycle continues. I hope the shop finishes up with the Neon ASAP, because multiple weeks of this would kill me. And my poor car.

Ah, at last I have it figured out - the reason why very suspicious me is always singled out for extra-special security searches when I fly now:

I'm a woman. )

I'd probably be shot on sight if I had airplane blueprints.

If anyone is interested in getting the scoop on Court of Avalon events as they happen, [livejournal.com profile] courtofavalon is going to be updated as things happen. I'm not going to start widely promoting the community until later in the year, but it's there, and I will be updating it.

Someone I don't know has stumbled on it, which is neat.

I spent the weekend lusting over the thought of having a Saturday night special concert with Carbon Leaf. *drool* Devon wants a special Saturday night event of some sort (although we can't have the bonfire-and-smores that she wanted), a separate ticketed event anyway, and we have access to a building with tiered seating and a sound system. *drool*

The current charity plan is thus - it's a two day event. I can't have an auction on both days, that would be silly. So the auction is going to be on Sunday (probably, say, 2PM) in the big barn, and will benefit Habitat for Humanity. On Saturday, we're going to have a raffle to benefit RESCU. It will rock.
