Someone else beat me to the punch, but here's the complete list of books I read in January 2006:

A paltry 30, not even one per day, even with all that sick time off work! Yet, the other list doesn't seem to be getting any shorter, even if I have contrived to fit them all on my entertainment center.

Mo-ther-fucker. I think this is what killed my DVD burner - symptoms were exactly what is described in the BoingBoing article.

Dead CD burner, horridly unstable system at times when trying to use either optical drive, and all because I wanted to play #$!^#@ Icewind Dale. Nice.

To say I'm irate at this would be what you could call a monumental understatement.
