machine_dove at 10:23am on 18/12/2005Erik was being an unmitigated ass yesterday before he left to go to work, so he brought home I'm Sorry bagels for me. Such a freak. ^_^
His partner (who, I feel compelled to add, is a complete and utter pig, and is not a good influence on Erik...) was hit by a car last night. He wasn't hurt badly, but still...Erik arrested the woman and charged her with Malicious Wounding of a Police Officer. He didn't get home until after 7AM, so he sort of passed out after letting me know that much, so that's all I know. Hopefully he won't be out of commission for any length of time, or Erik's going to be stuck with more of the squad's scut-work. That's all he's been doing all month, it seems, and it's starting to bother him.
Amazingly, all my eBay auctions sold, most of them at better prices than I was anticipating. Yay! Only one stupid question this time around, and it was only stupid because the person sent it out fifteen minutes before the auction ended. I was already in bed at that point, so...C'est la vie.
I'm going to continue to be a bum for the rest of the day. Next week at work is going to suck, because I'm going to have to make up as many hours as I can prior to the base closing, so I don't have to use a week's worth of leave. Bleh.
Still - I think most of the building is going to be gone trying to use up as much use-or-lose leave as possible before the January deadline, so it should be quiet at least. ^_^
