The Zoo over Ambuscade Street

I put in a Loreena McKennitt CD to listen to on the way into work this morning, which proved to be a Grave Mistake - A Winter Garden is a little too soothing for first thing in the morning. I decided instead on my one and only Great Big Sea CD, Rant and Roar...which was also a Grave Mistake, for the opposite reason. During a few songs (say...Mary Mac or The Night that Paddy Murphey Died) I discovered myself driving Way Too Fast - 70 or windy backroads with speed limits of 45, for example. But I wasn't sleepy!

Now is a different story, but that's life, I suppose. It's suddenly very cold outside, which was an unpleasant suprise after the gorgeous warm weather we've had the past few days. C'est la vie - it is winter, after all. No snow allowed, however. That will not be tolerated.

I think that all should be in awe of my mad photo-dodging skills. Even when I'm not trying to, I can avoid a camera with the greatest of ease. I should be in at least three of these pictures - if they continued on a foot or so to one side I would be. But...I'm not. That, my friends, is skill. I know I'm in quite a few pictures, but...the only ones I've been able to find of me are the ones my parents took, and I look especially hideous in those. Really. I mean, I'm not photogenic at the best of times, but those are Especially Horrid. And should be burned, all copies of them. *shudders*

I need good pictures of me before I'm going to be putting them online!
