It was a gorgeous crisp day today, so when I went walking I got to my normal mile and a half turnaround point and decided to keep going. A lot. I'm not sure how far I went exactly - I'll have to clock it the next time I drive that way, but it was at least five miles. And my ankle is Not Happy with me.
You'd think, after ten months, it would be healed, but no, I'm not that lucky - it's still weak and causes me undue pain when I overwork it. Sometimes, walking half a mile is overworking it. Very annoying.
But I'm feeling pretty good because other than the ankle, my walk was great - and I'm getting my stamina back. Five plus miles and I'm not even the slightest bit tired. Yay!
Our attempt to see Harry Potter last night failed spectacularly - Erik neglected to check the movie times, insisted that everything would be fine. We went to the theater after dinner...and there wasn't another showing for two hours. He insisted on driving to the other theater across town, the one I hate and that...didn't go well, either. The normal traffic around there had Erik frothing in rage, which stressed me out, and then all showings before 10PM were sold out. We went home and played Katamari instead, which works for me. We'll probably have to wait until next weekend to see it. ;_;
Also, I want to know where November went. Next Thursday is Thanksgiving already!?! No fair! We've been invited to stay over at Laura's house after dinner that night, which might be fun...if I don't have to work on Friday. I'll have to pick up some serious hours next week to pull it off, so...we'll see.
