Ha ha ha! Retconning is funny. Sometimes. Apparently, in some alternate universe, my turkey last year was "really, really dry, horribly dry!" Bridezilla said this, of course - despite the fact that she took all of the turkey leftovers with her. My turkey was freaking perfect - she's trying to make herself look better, since she's cooking this year. I mean, you can't make dry meat when you brine it, unless you're doing something terribly wrong.

I'm suddenly very, very relieved that we're not visiting the Dark Den of Bridezilla on Thanksgiving. I'd be forced to respond in kind, and that would just get unpleasant.

Besides, I'm going to be having a mad bake-a-thon in my huge kitchen with my chocolate fondue pot and new pizelle press. It will be fun. I need to make sure that Erik is working, so I have baked goods left at the end. And I have a Nifty Idea that I hope works...*dances*
