I'm pondering joining a gym again, but sign-up fees stick in my craw. Sport & Health is right out, since they're no longer convienient for me at all. Actually - their new location is on my new route home, but it's a bear to get in and out of, and dealing with them is a hassle. Plus, they're expensive. But...they have the elliptical machines, and an indoor track. Also classes, but none at the times I'd be driving by, so I shouldn't even bother taking that into consideration. I requested a three-day trial pass, so we'll see.

Curves has some good things going for it (namely, location, since I drive past a few on my commute, and there's one about fifteen minutes from my house, and membership to one gets you membership to all), but I'm not sure if I'm thrilled with the circuit-training-only nature of it. There are days when I want to get on a freaking cardio machine and lose myself in a book for an hour or two (yes, I must have a book - otherwise I get painfully bored and leave). Plus, the concept is slightly creepy - I'm not much up for chatter or support groups while I'm working out. The Hapkido training coming out again, I think. But...the King George location is really easy to get in and out of, which limits my drive-home excuses for not stopping. But they have bizzaro hours - no morning workouts, and I'd have to stick around work a little later on some days while I wait for them to reopen from the Lunchbreak From Hell.

Damn, now I'm hungry and craving a decent workout. Blarg.

Biggest issue with Gankutsuou after watching four episodes: Everyone but Albert is suspicious of the Count and his motives. Nonononono. Where is the developing trust, the charmed delight? Without that, the final revenge is so much less delightfully crushing. Infernokrushing, even.

Boss Man says something about the new director of the Fed, and mentions that it's a four-year position. Buck retorts with "no, the supreme court is for life!" Then, Fu-Master pop up with this stunning bit of insight:

Those guys at Google are punks, only twenty five! Punks! With sticky fingers, sticky fingers!

Don't ask me to translate, I don't know either. They seem to be able to follow their own conversations well enough.

My head hurts.

There is justice in this world. Fu-Master is being moved to an office down the hall. Buck might go with him. The guy that might go in Buck's spot is only here half the time, at best, and there's nobody planned for Fu-Master's spot.

Peace, peace at last.
