How very odd. Enjoyed by users who liked Martha Stewart Cooking: Favorite Family Dinners, Feng Shui, Myths and Logic of Shaolin Kung Fu, The Real Cancun, Dr. Andrew Weil: 8 Weeks to Optimum Health & Spontaneous Healing, Crunch: Pick Your Spot Pilates, Masters of Poker: Vol. 1: Phil Hellmuth's Million Dollar Poker System, and Winning Strategies: Texas Hold 'Em Poker with Mike Caro. That's a mighty strange combination of titles.
This also disturbs me. Not that it exists or anything like that, but that Netflix carries it. Ew.
I'm going to die of terminal bored.
Addendum:
I read
Mystic and Rider yesterday, yet another Sharon Shinn book. Sharon Shinn always makes me happy...except this time. The book rambled from beginning to end, never quite getting to the point before stuttering to a stop. It's not a book - it's half of a book. Or part of a book - it wasn't bad, just painfully incomplete. I'm hoping I'll be much happier with it once
the next one rolls around.
Part of it might have been the badly telegraphed romance. I mean - three pages in and I saw it coming. It wasn't bad, but...not her best work. I'd expect her writing to become more polished as she goes along, not less.
Reading list stands
thus. It's getting shorter, I swear - but rather than the standalone books, I've been nibbling at various series. Oh, and my SFBC membership books
finally arrived. I'd gotten half a dozen bills for them, but no books. A touch annoying. Let's see if they remember that second order I placed or not.
