The Zoo over Ambuscade Street

The next time I go to Canada, somebody remind me to look up this band and kill them, probably with rusty spoons. William Shatner reading Shakespeare would probably be poetic justice to inflict on them as well. Should someone tell them about this book too? Or ooo! A TV series! It would probably be a Really Bad Idea to show them this site.

My commute home yesterday was both horrible and disgusting, and very, very depressing. You can now add to the list of wildlife that has flung itself at my car a hawk. This is the second one...and I wasn't able to dodge this one. Grah. Also, ew. I sped home as fast as I could, drove to the back of the house, and hosed the car down posthaste. Very, very sad, and very, very ew.

So, this means the only animal that we've confirmed in the area that hasn't thrown at least two versions of itself at my car is...a bear. And that's only a matter of time, I'm sure, since we've had one bear spotting - in my front yard. That was a fun night.

Buck took away his teenage daughter's cell phone for two weeks - because she was chewing on a straw. She's going to go apeshit in college. Fu-Master is expounding on his theories on how video games cause tension. Another thrilling day in the office...

The Universe is, for whatever reason, out to piss me off this morning. Despite the fact that I woke up in a pretty damn good mood, it's starting to work. Not even Cinnamon-Chocolate cookies are making it better, because I'm too busy critiquing the damn recipe as I'm eating them. I can't get lunch either, because I'd end up skipping lunch and driving the rest of the way home. Don't think I wouldn't, especially in this mood.

I was going to discuss aforementioned things that are pissing me off further, but that was only serving to make me wallow, which just made things worse. So I won't. Just...par for the course. Grah!

[EDIT] Ok, Google as portal is giving me a bad case of the heebie-jeebies. Didn't we already try that and fail miseraby a few dozen times? Sure, Google's just taking all the services they were already offering and putting it on one page for you, but...*shudders* I'm having Yahoo flashbacks.

And I need better pictures of me in garb, because my mother is threatening to not only show more people the ones she has (with me half-blinking - they're hideous), but frame them and hang them in her house as well. And her house gets some serious traffic in people I know.

Why does Excel suck and not let me do cool grep things like "delete the first two characters in every cell in this column." Nooooo...instead I'm doing it by hand. And getting it to the point where I could do it by hand required two hours of data massaging. And completely throwing away some rows that fell into the "what the fuck is this!?!" category.

*THUD*

If I'm a good girl I'll get to walk around the building with Buck later in the week, wrenching PCs away from people by force if need be. Spreading hate and discontent is my job, I suppose.
