So tired...
Oktoberfest was a blast. Lots of people, lots of beer, not too many skuzzy rednecks (some - they tipped well, but were really, really creepy). Ali and I ended up being the only two people there, which kind of sucked, but we, as they say, made out like bandits - we made way more in tips than I had been anticipating, and Jeff paid us $35 each on top of that. He's a great guy. The $120 I came home with made things happier.
We sold huge amounts of beer. All the commemorative steins sold early, and all the pilsner glasses we found to replace those sold just as quick. All five kegs of Oktoberfest beer sold out before 3PM. Lots of other stuff sold, too, but I'm too tired to list all that. One guy made me dance a polka, which was an experience. I'll leave it at that - I don't sing, and I don't dance, either.
Dayquil mimics the effects of too much beer nicely. It made things Far More Amusing than they might have been.
