I'm not going to survive today.

Because I'm in the realm of the Easily Amused today, and because my descent into garb-whoredome knows no bounds, when the Moresca website failed to work for me again this morning (bastards!), I called to place my order. MUST HAVE NOW!

Apparently, I'm the very first person to order any of the Cleo line, which amused me greatly. The skirt's finished, but the bloomers aren't, so my order will probably ship out around the middle of next week. I can live with that. And the charming woman I talked to is going to make sure that they send at least one of the bodices in the color combination I want to MDRF. Maybe I should replace "charming" with "evil" in that sentence.

Stacey and I spent about an hour last night discussing the finer points of our respective garb whoredoms. She's concluded that she really just likes the middle to upper-class and noble fancy dresses, while I'm convinced that Tavern Wench is my true calling. Maybe it's the tips sufficient to pay for more garb that convinced me of that...

I think I prefer my type of whoredom all around - it's cheaper, for one thing, and makes it a hell of a lot easier to mix and match. Oh, I like pretty dresses as much as the next person (This? I will have one.), but it's going to cost Stacey at least $200 for her next dress...for just the fabric. Probably at least that much to have someone actually make it, and that much again for all the undergarments and accessories she'll need. Yowch.

Plus, the stuff I wear is a hell of a lot cooler than the stuff she wears. By far. [EDIT: That's cooler as in "I don't like passing out because of the heat and fifty pounds of fabric generates a whole lotta heat" rather than any other definition]

I want to go to a faire so bad this weekend, but MDRF isn't open yet, and PARF is too far (it's Pirate Weekend, too!), since I have Saturday plans... ;_; August 28...I can make it until then...

I lust after this. A lot.

Just got some pre-interview coaching from the gentleman who got me the interview in the first place. Now, I'm going to nap, because otherwise I might not survive another ten minutes.

Annoyingly, I have Yucie 3, but not 2, so I can't watch it yet. Bah!
