Habeas Corpses
by William Mark Simmons
Blood, Corpses and Not Enough Sex!
Dealing with marauding teams of cutthroat New York vampire assassins? Been there. Staked that. Stopping a Nazi horror out for blood in order to embody its ultimate evil in immortal form? All in a night's work. But when a stray silver bullet transmutes Chris Csejthe's kisses into toxic acid baths for his werewolf wife-to-be, one seriously peeved and sex-starved vampire-human hybrid is mad enough to take on whole armies of the quick, the dead, and the utterly gruesome and kick some ghoulish butt! The sequel to Wm. Mark Simmon's fast-paced and rollicking Dead on My Feet.
Um. Yea. The fact that Baen books seems to be actively using their mailing list for new releases and other such info is neat, though.
I spent the last several hours passed out, dead to the world. It rocked, even if all my dreams involved being halfway asleep and needing to wake up.
[EDIT] I can't resist the urge to link to some well-written professional snark. The Hayden duo rocks my world, and not just because of their blog.
