I can't think of a good editorial comment for this. It'll have to stand for itself. But it's worth looking at.

Dear HBO: Why? Why did you do it? I would have expected this from Fox, but I always thought better of you than that. Why did you have to go and cancel Carnivale? It was easily one of the best shows on television, perhaps ever, and certainly since Babylon 5 (*waits for rabid Firefly fans to leap to attack*). The gritty, dark portrayal of good versus evil against a backdrop of a poor Depression-era traveling carnival was fresh, in a tawdry and tattered sort of way. I want more, damnit!

When does Season 2 come out on DVD, anyway?

Also:

Dear Genius Inventor at Starbucks: I bless the ground you walk on. I have raised a shrine in your honor. Keep me supplied with Mint Mocha Frappachino, and I will raise of hymns of praise to your name. Finally! Someone who understands what coffee should taste like!

Hamlet, the text-adventure! This is the best thing ever.

You are on the palace balcony. Bats are flapping around in the twilight. Miles and miles of crinkly Danish countryside stretch out below you.
A ghost is here.
An exit leads south.
The ghost clears his throat impatiently.

Ah....the world needs more text-based Shakespearian games.
