The Zoo over Ambuscade Street

I hereby dub today the Day of Exploding Guinness. A bottle was sitting on a table, minding it's own business, when it...exploded. Allison and I were quite suprised by the whole thing. Other than that, it went well. I did a shift at the front gate, which sucked, and then bought a circlet and two carved wooden dragons on sticks with little wheels and floppy leather feet for my two nephews...theoretically. They're so cute I may be forced to keep them.

Working pub is still the most fun, and the braggot sold really well. Yay! We've made our cost and more off that, which is the important part. Melissa, Allison, and I have been asked to help out next year as well. My goal? To have us treated more like cast. We discovered today that cast gets fed, in addition to free water. Bitter! We're not important, we're just making them all the money...

We're also going to have actual buildings next year. Removable, but buildings all the same, and one permanent storage shed to keep the parts in. It's going to kick ass. And I still want a half-price shirt, damnit.

Hot, tired, need to go sleep now. Or possibly watch Rayearth. Or maybe read, I have a few (hundred) books laying around that need reading.
