As we enter Day 4 of our counterattack against the Rodent Raiders, we're finally seeing signs that point to our success.
The operation initially got off on a rather rocky start. Our defenses were not as complete as we had hoped, and one raiding party penetrated a weakness in our line and was able to attack the interior. Luckily, the traps and sentries we had set as our second line of defense captured and killed the intruder before he could sucessfully complete his mission.
We shored up our defensed and sealed both that leak and several other potential holes. Since then the enemy has launched several attacks on our defenses, but thus far they have been completely unable to penetrate them. It's now been quiet for several days, and we remain hopeful.
(Translation: TAKE THAT, MOUSE BITCHES! TRY TO SNEAK IN BEHIND THE FRIDGE ON THE WATERLINE? NOT ANY MORE! DIE DIE DIE!!!! PH34R MY SEALANT FOAM!)
Addendum: Mice can apparently get through holes the size of a pencil eraser. This Really Really disturbs me.
