Today's morning commute brought to you by Kamikaze Attack Rabbits. Eight of them, in fact.

This morning's Icon Luv brought to you by Rachan, who really needs to watch Dai-Guard. As does everyone else.

I had some stuff that I actually wanted to post, but since I spent the weekend unconscious (yay for sleeping disorders!), I forgot what they were. They may have involved my dreams, at least one of which involved me (as a monk) with a group of other monks investigating strange things that were happening that were apparently the result of grave desecration. Including Detective-Conan-like plot twists like grave dirt (don't ask me how I could tell) on the bottom of a set of stairs, and a seppuku-style beheading, where the Father Abbot (posessed, I think) took a long knife, cut down at one shoulder, and across at about the center of the breastbone. I think he was going to continue up the other side, but we stopped him before that. Oddly enough, this didn't kill him, which is what clued me in that it was a dream.

The moral of this story? Don't watch Cadfael and Requiem from the Darkness in the same night.

Today = t3h suck. NMCI = t3h suck. Boss Man = t3h suck. That sums it up about as completely as I'm capable of without resorting to profanity, capitals, and the abuse of both italics and bolding.

Dear god, I hate people. Especially people who use data from a known incomplete and out-of-date source.

Say we have a completely hypothetical situation where you have three databases - one is NAVSEA-wide and is, for all intents and purposes (I so wanted to put intensive purposes there...), The Bible, from whence all invoices are generated. It has its problems, like randomly losing entire records, but it's The Source.

Then, you have Database Two, which is smaller (base-wide only), has (*gasp*) accurate informaion, and has notes for when what was planned differed from what actually happened.

Finally, you have Database Three, which is a bastard child known to not work frequently, which can only have certain information added by *one* individual who's known for...just not doing anything, and which is intended for one department, and one department only. Also, it sucks. Just in general.

Now, if you were going to make decisions that impact, at a minimum, dozens of people, which database would you base your information off of?

I bet you can guess which one Boss Man based his decisions off of... And, of course, as I predicted, this is all somehow my fault.
