"Oh, once you get married you'll pay less in taxes!" "Oh, once you buy a house you'll get huge tax returns!" Why do people feel compelled to lie to me? It sucks, you know. And digging through the mortgage paperwork brought back traumatic memories of the nightmare that was. Remind me to track down my realtor and kick her ass sometime just for fun, OK?
I think I'm going to do something I've only managed once or twice in my life and get very, very drunk. Because I need it.
