Erik's in day 2 of his Stalking Seminar, which sounds way more fun than what I'm doing. They got to examine suicide notes yesterday to see if they were really written by the apparent suicide, by comparing writing styles, word frequencies, sentance structure, etc. I could so do that. Except there's the whole dead bodies thing...

This (assuming the link works - if not, go to the Tahitian Pearl collection - it should be the second one on the first page) is my Valentine's Day gift. Yes, my tastes are both expensive and odd. But I love it! I almost bought it while I was in San Diego.

Erik is muttering angrily, but it's all an act. He hasn't yet realized that all my jewelry gifts from now until the end of time will be coming from this store. Or that the necklace I want for my birthday is more expensive (Oooo...or do I want the almost identical one with pink toumaline instead? And I love the square counter with bamboo border pendant as well). It's amazing, really, that the jewelry I like always ends up being so expensive, despite my disdain for so-called precious gems. Nope, I like pearls, coral, opal, turquoise...antique mother-of-pearl gaming counters hand etched in the Ching Dynasty...

He should have just gone with the iPod.
