I hate people. Maybe you shouldn't be such a hypersensitive bitch, perhaps, eh?!?

My mantras collided today.

Shortly after Erik got home today, he started yelling for me to come in the kitchen, where he stood broom upheld. A Damn Rat Bastard had made himself known and was hiding under the stove. A frenzy of drawer removal and banging with multiple broom handles ensued. After about twenty mintues of this, we located him, drove him out, and bashed him with a broom. HAHAHA DIE!

Erik finally (finally!) set up the traps again, and not ten minutes later one went off. When we checked it - there was a third one, probably a juvenile, hovering around, so we're hoping we can catch him by morning. Take that! That'll teach you to get into my tea! The rice, cake mixes, dried fruit, cereal - you can survive these, but touch my tea and it's time to die.

So after that excitement (he got the dog involved, too, which was kind of traumatic), I popped in one of my new batch of rental discs that showed up today - one of the fourth season of Detective Conan. Who voiced the baddie in the last episode on the disc? Vic Mignogna. Oh yes, Vic = Luv.

It was kind of neat, because it's a different sort of voice than I usually hear from him. Kougaji, Shaggy in Aquarian Age, Dark, and Ed all have a similar sort of timbre that was missing from this performance. I like hearing voice actors do different things, which is one of the fun things about Conan - there are so many one episode characters that there's almost an unlimited field to work with. Name changes aside, I think that's one of my favorite things about the show.

Now to continue gnawing my arms off in anticipation of the game winners. I'm not going to win, but I'm going to be insufferable in the meantime. I apologize - I repress my inner fangirl most of the time, so it's odd when I can't.
