Amusingly, or not, several movies in my Netflix queues that were available "Now" only yesterday now are "Very Long Wait." I, apparently, have now been bumped into the heavy users category, where they will try every trick in the book to slow down my rentals. I, on the other hand, will try every trick to ensure they have great difficulty doing so. I'm paying for a service, damnit, and I'm using it according to your terms, and if you don't like it you know where you can take it.

I hate them. But I can't afford to buy every period drama or BBC mystery show out there, and I have no other way of finding out which ones suck and which ones don't. Bleh.

Can anyone honestly tell me that there's a legitimate reason why "Midsomer Murders: Judgment Day" would have a very long wait, while every other title in the series is available now? No, I didn't think so. Unless they coincidentally sent out every copy they had yesterday, which I doubt.

And they don't have the first season of "The Grand." They have the second season, but not the first. The hell? And how do you tell them they're lacking that title? Simply put, you don't.

[EDIT] Odd, if I put certain titles farther down in my queue, they become available now. But closer to the top, and they suddenly gain very long waits. Bastards.[/EDIT]

There's a lot of hate here )

When one has a sprained ankle, even one that is feeling Much, Much Better, one should take care to not inadvertantly crack it, as the resulting pain and nausea is something easily qualified as Not Fun.

I'm going to crawl under my desk with someone's frozen dinner and cry now.
