Yay, Tokyopop licensed Beck! Now someone needs to pick up the anime, so I can finally see it. ^_^
The weekend was cold and dull. I concluded after playing Champions of Norrath that the PS2 sucks. More specifically, the controller sucks, badly. I should not have to look at the buttons to tell what they are, damnit! Also, if one button is the "die a firey death in lava" button, it should be clearly labeled as such.
Champions of Norrath, thus far...sucks. And I mean that in the nicest possible way. The story is essentially "Hey! We're being attacked by bad guys! Go kill them. Now go here and kill them! Now go over there and kill them! Now go underground and kill them! Oh yea, something incoherent about a scroll and a vampire. Now go forth and kill!"
After BG: Dark Alliance, it's pretty disappointing. Plus, the PS2 controller sucks. And the whole lava rider thing is dumb. Plus, having to spend ten minutes talking to the same person over and over and over and looking at the quest page and debating what, exactly the game wants you to do is bad. This means you, the game designers, aren't doing your job. That is all.
