The Zoo over Ambuscade Street

Status update: I apparently also did a number on my right knee, but I didn't notice until the pain in my ankle went down. Climbing onto the Seventeen Foot High Bed of Doom sucks (I exaggerate - it's only about four and a half-five feet high. Still insanely difficult with only one leg to work with). I think I've concluded that it's not broken, but this may just be my desire to not go to the doctor, since I hate doctors. All of them. Especially the ones I'm related to.

Ah, and I thought that I'd be off the hook come June when it came to weddings - after all, the pool of unmarried people I know has been shrinking at an insane rate. But, I was wrong - my cousin's engaged now. No idea when the wedding is, but I'll probably try to go.

...Although, thinking about it, that will involve seeing The Asshole and his woman again. (Oh, no bitterness there, not at all!) Damnit. I doged the bullet in August, but I doubt I'll be so lucky a second time. Can't make it to either of his daughter's weddings, but he'll make it to his niece's, that's for damn sure.

But, it's likely going to be in Vegas, and Erik's been wanting to go, so...sigh.

It'll really all depend on my work situation, and if I have any leave left or not.

You know, wide hallways and open spaces are overrated. Especially when you just want to carry a glass of water from one end of said open space to the other while hopping on one foot.
