The Zoo over Ambuscade Street

Someone please remind me to send a thank-you letterbomb to my inlaws for this fantastic stomache flu they gifted me with once I can walk again.

And I realized yesterday after being almost side-swiped in an incident that was completely and totally not my fault! that every time I've left my house in the past three weeks, someone has tried to kill me with a car.

Incident in question (yesterday's incident, anyway) - I merrily make my way in the right straight lane through an intersection at a green light. Several yards in front of me in the left straight lane is a large yellow truck...who ends up in the right lane on the other side of the intersection. Red SUV behind him, and next to me, attempts to follow, finally notices me, brakes, gets behing me, and flicks me off like this is somehow my doing! I hate people.

My dog just barked. Independently, and without provocation. This marks the first time she's barked without Erik tormenting her into it. This also makes a grand total of four barks to come out of her.

I paniced, thinking something was badly wrong, and sprinted to the front room. She glared intently at the front door and, when I let her out, pranced about the yard for a few minutes until I got bored of standing there and had her come back in.

Hours of entertainment. Sadly, she won't leave me alone so I can sleep.
