Cooking for twelve. Ouch. I have no idea how much stuff I should buy. Hokay, we're going to have the following:

Turkey
Ham
Stuffing (I think I need to buy more, I dunno)
Cranberry sauce (with berries and without. Lots. Yum, cranberries!)
Mashed potatos
Corn on the cob (will ten ears be enough?)
Sweet potatos in some form. Probably with cinnamon and brown sugar and nutmeg and marshmallows
Gravy
Bread. Lots of bread.
Pumpkin Pie
(Other desserts. Erik wants Tiramisu, but I've never had it, much less made it, so I haven't the foggiest idea how I'm going to pull this off. I'm pondering blackberry and Boston Cream pies. I've never made a boston cream, either.)

Is there anything I'm missing? Any suggestions? I'm goin' shopping on Saturday, and hoping Erik isn't working so I have a packhorse to unload things.

Sent an email to my mother with our Thanksgiving menu and some other stuff. Didn't pay attention to the email address - she's in my contacts, no problem!

Yea, NMCI helpfully found someone in their address book who was a "buzzard d" and resolved the address to them instead. So I've been involved in an amusing back-and-forth with a Deborah Buzzard in Washington State instead.

I take my amusements where I can get them. ^_^

References to strawberry poptarts are always amusing, but this article just kind of scared me (visit Bugmenot to avoid registration hassles). Although I really want to know what they mean when they say "the Internet."

One more reason why Walmart = 3v1L.
