I've probably managed to piss off a friend today, but here it is. (This, too) I've pissed off so many people this week (God included, it seems), that one more won't make much of a difference on the balance sheet one way or the other.
I'm so incredibly tired. Just...drained. I got home at 6:30 last night, and was in bed by 7:15, but I was so tired I couldn't sleep. The morning commute's already getting problematic, and I still have 14 days (not counting the weekends and holidays I may have to work) to go. No, I'm not going anywhere this weekend, or next weekend, or the weekend after that. I'll work; or if I magically am able to not work, I'm going to sleep, maybe read a bit, and sleep some more.
I don't know how I'm going to survive this.
[EDIT] And so far as the missing explosives story being debunked, I'm not convinced by what I've been able to find. The Pentagon claims they weren't there in the first place, but also admits that they didn't look very hard. It still looks like a massive failure on the part of the Bush Administration to me. Clearly the international community is taking this seriously enough that the Russians have asked that UN Weapons Inspectors return to Iraq. Doesn't look debunked at all.
