The Zoo over Ambuscade Street

I think a relative with my email address got infected with a spam zombie, as I just received eight spam messages in my gmail account, along with a forwarded message from her that obviously wasn't meant to be sent to me. The first spams I've gotten in that account. I was being so careful, too...I guess that means people must prove to me that they're clueful before I'll let them have my primary address. Bastards. Now I'm going to be on fifty million spam lists. Beautiful way to start a beautiful morning. It's going to be a fine week.

This same relative keeps sending me inane forwards, too. I love her dearly, but I want to take her email license away.

In a semi-futile attempt to make myself feel better, I discovered that it could be worse. Than Bush, that is. Talk about your freaky right-wing nutjobs! These people really scare me. "Constitution Party" indeed...These people really scare me.

I'll take my freaky left-wing nutjobs any day of the week. Talk about a platform I can support! I ordered a bumper sticker. I'll put it right next to my EFF sticker.

I'm sorry, but mixing up those particular two seems telling to me. I can't decide if it's deliberate misinformation, or honest stupidity. It's sad that I can't tell with this administration. It's also sad that I now feel like I have to rely on the BBC to ask the tough questions that American journalists aren't.

There isn't much I wouldn't do at this point to see both Bush and Kerry interviewed (sans restrictions) by some of the BBC's reporters. I've started scheduling my commute based on the BBC World News Hour, which I can pick up when I'm about halfway home.
