The Zoo over Ambuscade Street

This course has gotten more painful than before. They brought in some horridly hackneyed stereotypes - the Chinese professor, complete with accent and grey tufts of hair sticking out of his head, among other things. Called "Professor Fuji." I wish I was kidding...

The "lesson" I'm currently learning is to spend all the money you have as quickly as possible. There's something deeply wrong here.

The house thing...progresses. Slowly. Flowing like wood blocks, rather than water. But, we've passed this roadblock, now to try to anticipate what the next problem will be.

I called about fifty billion insurance companies today, and was only able to get two firm quotes...and one was half the other, so I have doubts as to the accuracy of one or the other. Sigh...I'm supposed to be called back with more, after we find out the make of the house.

Ok, Sweet Valerian is terrifying. It's a CLAMP show, but I'm not sold on it. At all. It's like a cross between Powerpuff Girls and the creepy Maromi-chan show in Paranoia Agent.

At least it's distracted me from the fact that I left my house at 5:30AM today and didn't get home until after 6:30PM. Guh.
