Yea, so the previous entry was rather random, but it was prompted by a discussion I was reading on a parody/satire lawsuit related to the song. I finally found what the fuss was all about.

Funniest. Thing. Evar.

I forgive it for being Flash. Really. It almost makes up for the fact that I've been here for three hours working on the Flash training o' stupidness. It has a Dr. Strangelove reference that is both insanely funny and hysterically appropriate. I don't know why I never made the connection before.

[EDIT] Oh, and no worries for the Republicans in the audience. It's extremely non-partisan in that it pokes much fun at both candidates.

And just so I don't have to make a separate entry for it, this guy is my hero. I'm just sayin'...

If I don't have a copy of my contract in hand by 10:30AM today, I'm going to be calling the charming Ms. Vanessa and give her the chewing out of her life.

We got a phone call at 6PM last night - "Uh, can you be here at 9AM tomorrow for the inspection?" Um, no. Sorry, a little last-minute. Erik went out there. He and the inspector were the only ones there, and there was no lockbox on the door, so they couldn't get in.

The inspector finally gets ahold of the selling agent. She says that, according to our ratified contract, anything discovered during the inspection is for "information purposes only," despite the fact that Erik and I specified that the contract was dependent on the result of the inspection. I don't have a copy of the contract in hand, because or realtor is dumb like bricks, so I can't verify this one way or the other.

Oh, the selling realtor also said that they require three days notification for inspections, so sorry they couldn't be there. I can't blame her for that.

I'm letting Erik call Vanessa. If I don't have a copy of that contract by 10:30, I'm calling Vanessa, and nobody wants that. Especially Vanessa. If I have to call I'm going to make damn sure that this is the worst day of her life.

I don't need this. I wanted to be able to have fun this weekend, but it looks like that may not pan out.
