Things that rock: Blink and No Doubt in concert.
Things that suck: Lawn seats in the cold, pouring rain.
Yea, about two months Erik said something like "Would you be interested in seeing Blink and No Doubt in concert," to which I replied "sure," and didn't think about again because nothing else was said. Yea, it was yesterday. And it was raining. And cold. And we ended up leaving shortly before Blink finished, because I was, at that point, almost too cold to walk. Also, Nissan Pavillion is apparently specially designed to allow for the lowest vehicular throughput possible, which means getting out after the show is a process that takes, quite literally, several hours.
We left about 20 minutes before the end of the show (also an interesting process - I wore sandals that were bound and determined to anchor themselves firmly in the mud), and it still took us almost 20 minutes to get to the main road we wanted to be on.
Good show, though. I'm feeling a bit fuzzy today, which is odd. Cookout tonight at Zoli's, which should be fun. There was a point there somewhere, but I lost it.
