KAAAAAAAHN!!!!!

I am being forced to sit through not one, but two painfully dry, long, complicated, acronym-filled, FLASH training courses that build on knowledge I supposedly already have. Riiiiiiight. Each of these is at least 40 hours worth of training, too. I may be forced to gnaw off limbs to keep myself awake.

I'm going to write off today as a dead loss. Maybe our afternoon meeting will be cancelled and I can actually go home on time. Unlikely.

*shots self* I am now completely, utterly convinced that there is nothing more dry, boring, and pointless (at least, from a network engineering/computer security perspective) than DOD Systems Aquisition.

Actually, thinking further, I don't think there's anything more dry or boring, stop. Not going to be a fun month. Also not fun is coworkers coming in to tell aquisition horror stories. Only slightly more interesting than the original material.

[EDIT] I should note that I can't even listen to music during this, because I have to listen to Mr Flash-man "Deputy Program Director" drone. KEEEEEELL!!!!

[EDIT2] "Software-intensive systems. Often!!!one1!! Don't have analogous systems. Or sufficient data! To use these methods."

Clearly, they hired actors from the William Shatner School of Acting. I wish I was kidding.

[EDIT3] Ah, in our second module we have Mr. Flash Sciency-type, who can't decide what accent he wants to have - Southern, Bronx, British, or Indian. Or none at all sometimes.

[EDIT4] How the FUCK am I supposed to pass a test if it considers the correct answer to be wrong!?!?!?! Question: What is blah blah blah. Course: 10,200 million. Choices: 900 million, 400 million, 800 million, 10,000 million. My answer: 10,000 million. Test: WRONG!!! J00 SUX0R!!!110ne0ne11! F41L!!!!

Dobedobedobedobedo

There is, for some unknown reason, a sticky note on the wall of one of the bathroom stalls that says "Do Not Remove From Bathroom."

I keep resisting the urge to either remove it from the bathroom, or move it to someplace different in the bathroom.

Yes, the brain-rot has quite clearly set in rather dramatically.

Quick Question

Is anyone out there planning to or currently watching Full Moon wo Sagashite? I have a spoilerific icon I want to use, but not-spoiling the fantastic ending is far more important.
