machine_dove at 10:26am on 14/05/2004Urg...for the last two days for some reason my head has wanted to explode, and moving my neck at all is extremely painful. This makes things like driving rather difficult. Especially when #!^$!%@#$1 get in my way.
Take this morning. I'm on 301, cruising at about 65. I'm behind another car going slightly faster than I am, and we approach a car going slower. We start to pass. He speeds up. We attempt to pass some more. He speeds up more. Eventually, the car who was originally in front of me passes, and gets back in the right lane. I attempt to pass and get over as well, but this $#!%# keeps speeding up.
Now things get nasty - the front car gets back in the left lane and turns on his turn signal. So I speed up a bit more in an attempt to get over, so I don't have to stop - at this point I'm going almost 75, and still can't pass this fucker. So I slow down. To 50. On a road with a speed limit of 55. With a car coming up quickly behind me.
...And the jerk slows down with me, so I still can't get in the freaking right lane! He paced me the whole freaking way. I ended up having to slow down to 20 when the car in front of me stopped to turn, and almost got rear-ended by the car approaching me from behind, all because some jerk decided to try to be funny.
[EDIT] Nevermind, no house-shopping for me for a few months. *kicks Erik for not doing things he was supposed to do six months ago until today*
