I'm playing with port forwarding on my router in a seemingly futile attempt to speed up my bittorrent downloads (it should NOT take me almost three days to download a new PGSM episode!!! Especially when I start it up almost the second the torrent went up!!!), and the only result I've seen so far is that ABC is turning my torrent downloads funny colors. Usually they're yellow, with the occasional red (if I can't connect to anybody), or gray (if the tracker rejects me, stupid PLANETES tracker...), but now they're going blue and green.
I'm assuming green = good. I hope. I need my Mars Daybreak fix. I also crave Aishiteruze Baby, but that seems to be late for some reason. I need t3h cute to make the badness that was last week go away.
[EDIT] W00t! It worked! Instead of (total) download speeds of 6k and upload speeds of 36k (on average), I'm getting downloads between 20-40k, and uploads in the same range. Wai! I also experimented with bumping up the priority of the process, which really didn't seem to add much. Now, maybe I'll get to actually finish a download or three in something under a month...
