Any further usage of the word/phrase "gizmogizmo" today is going to be met with hostility.

[EDIT] And I should find out today if any of my Aquarian Age dub cast WAGs are correct. I would really, really like to pick up a free copy of this.

WPP Guy: Fu-Master, do you have a dictionary?
Fu-Master: I don't know what that is.
Me: *bashes head against wall*

Things like this really make me wish I had this while I was working at the Despot. I had so many good insane customer stories, but I don't remember any of them except for the seizure guy, who will probably remain etched on my consciousness for the rest of my life.

My WAGs in Round 1 of the Aquarian Age dub guessing contest panned out fairly well - I ended up getting three correct guesses. Simple mathmatics means that tranlates into a 3 in 16 chance of me winning a free DVD. Looking at the other "pots" can make that a 3 in 13 chance since there are three pots with two people each, all of whom are also in the pots I am in. There are a few other smaller pots that share people, so the odds might get even better.

There are four more actors left to guess - I have guesses for two of them, but remain clueless on the remaining two. Likely, I'll just nab someone else's guess and hope it's right.

I'm having waaaaaay too much fun with this.

Corsham Entertainment has issued an official press release announcing that Japan's Madhouse Studios will animate 26 half-hour episodes of Natural Born Kittens.

Excerpted from the press release:

Natural Born Kittens is the brainchild of UK anime artist Larry Bundy Jr., and centers around the anarchic activities of four ancient Egyptian cat goddesses posing as teenage schoolgirls in low rent suburbia, with the ensuing mayhem making South Park look like Noddy. The Natural Born Kittens website is one of the UK's most visited anime sites, with more than half a million hits a year. Scripts will be written in the UK and the US, while the rest of the production will be handled entirely in Japan by Madhouse.

According to Shinichi Kobayashi, CEO of Madhouse, 'Natural Born Kittens is a great combination of Western and Japanese animation - we are very excited about the prospects for the series.' In fact, Corsham Entertainment believes that this will be the first ever genuine UK/Japanese anime co-production.

So we have a British webcomic about Egyptian catgirls, being animated by the Japanese. I have no idea what "Noddy" is, or how this will make South Park look like such. Maybe one of you UK-type can shed light on this subject.

The Natural Born Kittens website gets about a billion demerits for unnecessary use of Flash.

If you are even remotely interested in the upcoming Marmalade Boy anime, you can't pass this deal up. Order fast, before they realize their mistake! $24.99 for a set that retails at $100 is a steal, assuming they actually honor this price.
