Ckun, it's at 72%. I should be able to upload them tonight - barring that, it'll be tomorrow.

Cheers!

Articles like this make me glad I decided what I wanted online, bought my car over the phone, and negotiated a better price. Ye gods!

THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RETURN OF THE KING
(Again, this had BETTER win!)

Kermit...errr...Dean's getting my contribution this year!

Ok, not really - I haven't decided who I'm contributing to this year, other than NotBush. But seriously, Amazon campaign donations? I can't decide if this horrifies me or is really, really cool.

I think, before it gets to "really, really cool" status, Amazon needs to bring over its User Reviews feature, along with "People who donated to X campaign also bought Y." "People who contributed to Dean's campaign also bought GPS Units." Wait, no, now that I'm thinking about that it would put this pretty firmly into the "creepy" category.

Also creepy are candidates Helen McMullen Williams, and Al Hamburg.

I'd like to wrap this post up with a hearty YEEEAAAURRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!! in honor of Dean, who may very well have killed his campaign with the "best Kermit the Frog impression I've heard since Jim Henson died." (Actual quote, from Stacey. She amuses me greatly.)

I haven't had mail delivery since Friday. What happened to that "through sleet, through driving rain" crap? The UPS man came, and I have trouble getting them to deliver packages even when the weather's fine and they're sitting in the Fredericksburg processing station!

Sigh...I want my mail.

Tomorrow should prove to be interesting as well. It's sleeting now, and is supposed to continue all night. Lots of ice in the morning! I'm somehow supposed to go to work (which took almost 2 hours this morning), then come back to Fredericksburg for an eye appointment at noon (took me 1.5 hours today), then turn around and go back to work for a...1:30 meeting?!? Something's not going to happen. Since they eye place wasn't open at all today, it's probably my eye appointment. I'm sending Erik in my place, and hoping that I can take his appointment on Friday, because otherwise I won't be getting my new glasses until April sometime, the way they fill up.

And then class tomorrow, yay. Unless it's cancelled again, which I'm not counting on. And I'm somehow supposed to do an assignment while I'm in Tucson because "it's online, you can get it from anywhere!" Yea, anywhere there's a freaking computer with internet access, which isn't happening while I'm in Tucson! Not to mention a computer, with internet access, and a DOS C++ compiler (I need to get one of those, now that I think about it), and enough time to sling some reliable code (yea, right) out to get a working "tool" to run against this code we're testing.

Ok, enough bitterness. Pretty snow!
